An Englishman usually has three meals a day: Breakfast (at about 7 a.m.), lunch (at about noon) and dinner (at about 7 p.m.)
An English breakfast consists of boiled eggs, bacon or sausages, and tea. Sometimes they have corn-flakes with milk and sugar, and toast and marmalade.
Lunch is usually a light meal. Sometimes it consists of some slices, of boiled or roasted meat and salad. Pudding, ice-cream, cake and fruit are very popular desserts.
In general, English people do not eat big meals.
